In the middle of the Corbières wineyards, the ruins of the Aguilar castle, one of the "5 sons of Carcassonne" stay on a rocky hill.
Its defensive position, less strong than those of the other fortified places didn't allow it to have a prominent role in the cathar's resistance.
Inside the enclosure, the Sainte Anne' chapelle offers a very well restored vault.
